Acne/Pimples
Pimples most often appear on the upper part of the body, especially on the face, shoulders, back and chest. Pimples appear principally on the upper part of the body because pimples are a yin phenomenon. The upper part of our body is Yin and the lower is Yang. Yin things expand and rise to the periphery. Yang things contract and descend to the center. Sugar and fat are Yin. They all cause things to expand or grow. Everyone needs sugar, fat and protein to live. But there are limits to our needs for these nutrients. When those limits are exceeded, the excess must be stored or gotten rid of. One of the ways for the body to eliminate excess is by pushing it out through the pores of the skin.
To treat acne, a person should avoid or eliminate all refined sugars and fatty foods. Under no circumstances should a person with acne eat so-called fast foods, which is rich in fat and salt. This combination is extremely poisonous to the body because the salt causes the kidneys to contract, thus reducing their ability to filter the blood. When the kidneys cannot fully cleanse the blood, the toxins spread to tissues throughout the body and quickly become pimples. Remember that fat is difficult to digest because of its strong molecular bonds. Therefore, tiny globules of fat travel in the bloodstream. These globules are Yin; they will rise in the body and finally emerge on the face or some other Yin area of the skin, forming pimples.
When pimples appear on the face, you can use Oriental Diagnosis (an ancient holistic system of knowledge, that can often uncover physical problems even before they arise. This natural non-invasive approach can give you astounding information, about which internal organs require your immediate attention!) to determine which organs and which Meridians (Meridians are a network of energy channels throughout the body, according to the Ancient Chinese Healing Modality, Acupuncture) are most affected.
Pimples on the cheeks indicate problems of the lungs; on the chin, of the sex organs; on forehead, of the intestines and liver; on nose of the heart.
Pimples often appear from stress as well. Here again, the kidneys are involved. Stress directly affects the kidneys and kidney function, reducing their ability to filter blood.
A person who has acne should work at Alkalising their bodies, chew well, get plenty of exercise to increase circulation and metabolism and avoid excess sugar, fat, oils and protein. Then acne is very easy to clear up.
