A large population study at Harvard School of Public health has confirmed that the use of a multivitamin that includes the content of Folic Acid , Iron , D B1 and B2 reduces the risk of infertility in woman regardless of the use of contraceptives.
Researchers have estimated that at least three multivitamins a week would eliminate a fifth of ovulatory infertility cases and taking six or more multi's a week reduced infertility by 41% compared to not taking any.
The use of up to 41 mg of Plant Based Iron a day reduced the risk of developing an ovulation disorder by about 70%. (Low doseage of Iron was not effective)
Following a diet of Low animal protein , low GI Carbohydrates and high-fat dairy was shown to boost a womans fertility. .
A high emphasis on Vegetable protein was recomended to reduce infertility risks as a High Animal protein Diet gave women a 41% greater risk of ovulatory infertility.
Consuming multivitamins and iron from plants and supplements , high fat dairy and monosaturated instead of trans fats could reduce infertility risk by as much as 66%. Adding weight control and physical activity was associated with 69% lower risk
