Discover Why We Use Aspen In Our Moisturiser

Posted by

The Aspen Tree (Popularis tremula) is a great example of The Doctrine of Signatures

The trembling leaves of the Aspen tree point to it being one of the best remedies for both trembling with fear and nightmares, as well as tremor caused by weak nerves.

Aspen trees clump together giving each individual tree the security, inner protection and as they seek the comfort of those around them.

Aboriginals would rub the bark and use the white powder from the tree as a sunscreen

The Inner Bark has Salicylic Acid which is used in the production of Asprin. This has historically been used as a tea for pain and inflammation.

The Leaves have been used to give relief from insect bites.

Common Physical Imbalances that may be supported by the Bach Flower Aspen are:

  • Nightmares
  • The shaky oversensitive person
  • Palpitations
  • Always being fearful. Being in this fight or flight mode constantly can have an effect on the Kidneys and adrenals.

Supportive Measures to support Aspen Personality:

  • Meditation
  • Avoid mind altering Drugs – even caffeine and Alcohol.
  • Create your own special refuge where you feel safe and secure. Go there whenever you need to.

I added this Bach Flower to our moisturiser as I wanted the moisturiser to support women in facing their day without fear and this remedy is the perfect fit.
