Features and benefits

  • Specially formulated for joint health.
  • Important source of sulphur to help maintain elasticity in tendons and cartilage.
  • Great tasting powder that can be added to drinks.
  • Helps to provide nutritional support for joints, ligaments and cartilage.

How it works

MSM is a source of easily available dietary sulphur. Sulphur is required for proper synthesis and maintenance of connective tissue such as joints, tendons and cartilage, and helps to maintain their integrity and elasticity.
Glucosamine is a natural component found in the cartilage matrix and synovial fluid. Glucosamine is a major building block of the substances that together with protein form the structural units in cartilage. These structural units, called aggrecans, are important for the elasticity, resilience and shock-absorbing properties of cartilage. Supplementary glucosamine can be an important source of this vital component of cartilage as we age, helping to reduce cartilage wear, increase joint mobility and decreases joint stiffness.

Chondroitin, like glucosamine, is a natural component of cartilage. Chondroitin and glucosamine appear to work together in the synthesis of cartilage, as well as in the lubrication and nutrition of the joint. Chondroitin helps the joints to resist compression.

Manganese and boron are minerals which appear to play important roles in joint health. Manganese is essential for the production of cartilage and bone. Boron plays a role in the chemical make-up of bones and joints.
