OLIVE LEAF EXTRACT

The Olive tree has been cultivated for centuries, and it is from the fruit of this tree that Olive Oil is produced. Inhabitants of the Mediterranean have experienced the effects of Olive Oil in helping to support the cardiovascular system. In more recent times the therapeutic value of the leaves have been recognised.

Olive leaf contains a phytochemical called oleuropein, which is found through the tree and appears to protect it from insect and bacterial predators. It has also been found to have an action against viruses and bacteria.

Oleuropein also provides support to the cardiovascular system, as well as acting as an anti-oxidant and working against oxidation in the body.
