PSYLLIUM HULLS (Plantago psyllium)

Psyllium Hulls is the better option for increasing peristalsis in the colon. The main component of Psyllium is a mucilage which helps to lubricate the intestinal tract. Psyllium acts as a bulking agent, swelling 8-14 times its original size in water, thereby providing increased bulk to the stool and so assisting the peristaltic action.

Therapeutic Use

To assist with the treatment of constipation. Produces a bulk laxative effect to assist in the management of haemorrhoids. Drink plenty of water and increase fibre in the diet.

 

Active Ingredients

Each ‘preservative free’ capsule contains 500mg of Psyllium Husk Powder.
